Waynet, Inc. is a 501(c)(4) not-for-profit organization working for the benefit of our members to help promote Wayne County, Indiana on the Internet.

Waynet.org is a portal to Wayne County businesses and organizations to help both visitors and residents easily locate the information they seek about our communities.

Our Mission

WayNet is Wayne County's Internet Gateway, promoting dynamic and interactive exchange of current thought and activities while celebrating our historical, cultural, and economic heritage. ~ adopted July 2000

Our History

WayNet was incorporated in 1997, with help from 12 initial sponsors and a grant from the state of Indiana to establish a community network. Since that time, it has maintained self-sufficiency by offering memberships that include a link back to the members' website. Our focus is on Wayne County, Indiana - it's people, events, businesses, organizations, culture, history, etc.
