The historical Knollenberg's Department Store building, located at 817 East Main Street in Richmond, Indiana, reopened in 2008 as an Artist Center.  If you visit, notice the old-fashioned sign painted on the wall near the front entrance.  Sue King, Archivist at Morrisson-Reeves Library, has traced the historical origins of the Knollenberg's mystery sign.
