The City of Richmond will have billboards in the near future.

Old Business

We did not have the minutes of the March meeting to approve so we will table until the May meeting and approve March and April at that time.

New Business

Balance Sheet Review

We reviewed the balance sheet and our current financial status.

Directors Report:

Jane Holman shared we have two new members and also updated us on the upcoming Wayne Co. Connection programs. Google search requires constant monitoring each month.

Tim Love and Jane Holman met with Jera Schwer, Wetzel Auto, to discuss becoming a member and joining our Board. Jera was unable to attend the meeting today but we are hopeful she will soon join our group.

Moving Forward:

We pushed out committee reports until our next meeting.

Jane Holman went through the information that will be given to firms for our upcoming RFP. We discussed the different categories and felt we will need to focus on "branding" in conjunction with our upcoming quotes for the new website.

Kate Barber is going to contact Mayor Snow to set up a meeting with Dakota Collins and Kate ASAP.

We discussed "fee waivers", the options going forward and feel we need to discuss and come up with a policy for WayNet. We received a fee waiver request from 5-H™ which is a gift-based community of service. Kate Barber made a motion to deny but to continue conversation and the ability reapply when the proper documentation is submitted from this organization. Richard Peterson seconded.

Next Meeting:

Our next meeting will be Thursday, May 16, at noon. The location was not discussed. (updated: now at the Richmond City Building Community Room).

Next Meeting:

Our next meeting will be Thursday, June 20th, at noon. Unless someone volunteers to host this meeting, it will be in the Community Room at the Richmond City Building.

Adjournment:

There being no further business Tim Love asked for a motion to adjourn. Kate Barber seconded with everyone approving. The meeting was adjourned at 12:51 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Pam Merchanthouse
